Smashed buffalo tater tots are like crispy, thick potato chips covered in buffalo sauce, salt, pepper, and green onions. They cook in about 20 minutes. All you have to do is decide; ranch or blue cheese.
Do you know where I am supposed to be going tomorrow?
Here are some hints:
Welcome to New York, It’s been waitin’ for you
It’s up to you, New York, New York
There’s nothing you can’t do, now you’re in New York, New York…
Ok. They weren’t really hints. Those lyrics were more like me answering my own question.
Sorry.
Sometimes I forget there are people on the other end of this screen.
Like a lot of people around the world, I made the responsible choice to cancel my upcoming girls trip to New York in lieu of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Being responsible blows.
In times like this we need tots, lots of tots. In my book, I have a buffalo chicken tater tot hotdish that would be epic comfort food. Actually, if you don’t make these, make any hotdish.
Tots are life!
Tater tots are taken to the next level comfort zone by being baked at 400, then smashed, and cooked until crispy.
Top these tots with lots of buffalo sauce, salt, pepper, green onions, and your choice of ranch or blue cheese.
Luckily, I made smashed buffalo tater tots under much less dire circumstances so I could truly enjoy them.
Now, I am going to drown my tears over lots and lots of tots.
Stay safe out there people.
Wash those hands!
After handling all that buffalo sauce, it is probably just as likely to cause as much damage to your life as that pesky virus everybody is talking about.
Jokes! Jokes! We can still joke in dire times, right?
