Classic Guacamole

Super easy, classic guacamole. The perfect side dish or appetizer any time of year!

Servings 1 1/2 Cups Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 3 Ripe Avocados
  • Juice from 1 Lime
  • 2 Tablespoons Finely Diced Red Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • Freshly Cracked Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice each avocado in half. Remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh of the avocados into a small mixing bowl.
  2. Add the lime juice to the bowl.
  3. Use the back of a fork to mash up the avocado. Don't mash it too much, you want to still see some avocado chunks.
  4. Mix in the red onion, cilantro, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Cover the guacamole with plastic wrap. Press the plastic wrap into the guacamole to slow the oxidation process. Refrigerate until use. Eat within one day of making.
