Homemade pizza dough stuffed with sauce, spinach, sausage, banana peppers, green bell peppers, black olives, pepperoni, and cheese then rolled, cut and baked until crisp.
Make the dough ahead of time according to the instructions or purchase pre-made raw pizza dough and let that come to room temperature before rolling out.
Lightly flour a work surface and a rolling pin. Roll the pizza dough out to a 12x20 inch rectangle.
Spread the sauce on the dough first leaving about a 1/8 inch border. Top with spinach, peppers, onion, pepperoni, sausage, olives, and then cheese.
Roll the dough on the long edge towards you as you would a cinnamon roll. Not too tight as you squeeze out all the toppings. Slice the roll into 6 small rolls.
Grease a medium cast iron skillet or a 7" circular baking dish with the butter. Add the rolls to the pan. Place the rolls with the seam side up against the edge so they do not split open.
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F. While the oven preheats let the dough puff back up for about 25-30 minutes.
Bake the rolls for 20 minutes until crisp and golden. If the top is browning too quickly, cover with foil. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from dish and serving.
